ECO-VISIONARIES

MAAT’s second big “manifesto-exhibition” – Eco-Visionaries: Art, Architecture and New Media after the Anthropocene. In collaboration with several European museums, the Eco-Visionaries project is centered on art and architecture practices that propose critical and creative visions vis-à-vis the environmental transformations which affect our planet.

With contributions from over 35 artists and architects, the exhibition is the result of collaborative work with museums Bild Museet (Sweden), Hek (Switzerland) and Laboral (Spain).

02. The Story

ECO-VISIONARIES

At a moment when climate changes are even more widely felt, Eco-Visionaries launches the debate on a vast array of questions associated to the Anthropocene. The recent designation for a geological period defined by the impact of human action.

With contributions from over thirty five artists and architects. The show in Lisbon is the first and most wide-ranging of the four exhibitions that will appear simultaneously in Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Sweden.

WE LIKE TO WORK

Idea & Concept

Understand the product concept itself. Develop the ideas that provides solutions for a specific project.

Development

Brainstorming as wide a range of ideas as possible, and refining them through a number of development stages until we find the most effective process for the project in hands.

03.

Testing & Finalizing

Performing project closure. Disseminating information to formalize acceptance of the project. Final programing and testing.
